Day 01 :
Arrival in Colombo

After a warm welcome at Bandaranaike International Airport, drive to Colombo and enjoy a relaxed city orientation taking in Colombo Lotus Tower, Independence Square, the eclectic Gangaramaya Temple, and a stroll along Galle Face Green; settle into your hotel and unwind by the ocean at Galle Face Hotel, Colombo.

Day 02 :
Colombo to Anuradhapura (via Yapahuwa)

Depart north for Anuradhapura, pausing at the 13th‑century Yapahuwa Ancient City with its dramatic stone stairway and fortress ruins, then continue to the island’s first capital to check in at Palm Garden Village and spend the evening at leisure amid the tranquil gardens.

Day 03 :
Anuradhapura & Mihintale

Immerse yourself in Anuradhapura’s Sacred City as you visit the revered Sri Maha Bodhi Tree and the soaring white dome of Ruwanwelisaya, explore the monumental Jetavanaramaya and Abhayagiriya monastic complexes, and close the day at Mihintale—the cradle of Buddhism in Sri Lanka—before returning to your hotel for a peaceful night.

Day 04 :
Anuradhapura to Sigiriya (Aukana & Dambulla)

Travel to Sigiriya with inspiring heritage stops at the 12‑metre Aukana Buddha statue carved from living rock and the UNESCO‑listed Dambulla Cave Temple whose gilded caverns house more than 150 serene Buddha images, then arrive and check in at Cinnamon Lodge, Sigiriya.

Day 05 :
Sigiriya Rock & Polonnaruwa

Climb the iconic Sigiriya Lion’s Rock in the cool morning to admire frescoes and summit panoramas, then drive to Polonnaruwa to wander palace ruins, moonstones and the magnificent Gal Vihara Buddha sculptures, pausing for an authentic rice‑and‑curry lunch at Priyamali House before a restful evening back at Cinnamon Lodge.

Day 06 :
Sigiriya to Kandy (via Matale)

Head south to Kandy with cultural pauses at Matale Alu Viharaya, an ancient rock‑shelter monastery, and the vibrant Dravidian‑style Matale Hindu Temple; arrive in Kandy to enjoy a traditional Kandyan cultural dance show at dusk before checking in at Amaya Hills overlooking the city.

Day 07 :
Kandy Sightseeing

Spend the day discovering Kandy’s highlights beginning at the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic, then follow the scenic “Three‑Temple Loop” to Gadaladeniya, Embekke (famed for woodcarvings) and Lankathilake, and return to Amaya Hills for sunset vistas and a relaxed evening.

Day 08 :
Dambana Veddas Village & Mahiyanganaya

Venture east for an immersive encounter with the Veddas—Sri Lanka’s indigenous community—learning about forest traditions and crafts, pay respects at Mahiyanganaya Temple, and drive back through rolling hills to Kandy in time for dinner and overnight at Amaya Hills.

Day 09 :
Kandy to Nuwara Eliya (Little England)

Ascend into tea country with a stop at Ramboda Falls, visit Pedro Tea Factory to trace the journey from leaf to cup, and enjoy a gentle city tour around Lake Gregory, Victoria Park and colonial streets before checking in at the historic Grand Hotel, Nuwara Eliya.

Day 10 :
Scenic Train to Ella

Board the famed highland train from Nanu Oya to Ella for sweeping valleys and viaduct views, then explore Nine Arch Bridge and the breezy cascades of Ravana Falls before settling into Mountain Heavens, Ella, for a serene night among misty ridgelines.

Day 11 :
Ella at Leisure

Savour a free day in Ella to hike Little Adam’s Peak or Ella Rock, visit the Demodara loop viewpoint, sample cozy cafés and spas, or simply relax on your balcony and watch the clouds drift across the hills before another restful night at Mountain Heavens.

Day 12 :
Ella to Galle (Coastal Adventure)

Continue south towards the coast, soaking in the natural Emibilipitiya Hot Water Springs, meet fisherfolk and lively auctions at Weligama Fish Market, stop to photograph traditional stilt fishermen in Ahangama, and arrive to check in at Jetwing Lighthouse, Galle.

Day 13 :
Exploring Galle with Madu River Safari; Transfer to Colombo

Wander the cobbled lanes and bastions of UNESCO‑listed Galle Dutch Fort, then drive to Balapitiya for a tranquil Madu River boat safari through mangrove islands and Cinnamon Island before continuing to Colombo to check in at Galle Face Hotel for your final night.

Day 14 :
Departure from Colombo

If time allows, enjoy last‑minute city sightseeing or shopping in Colombo, then transfer to Bandaranaike International Airport for your onward flight with wonderful memories of Sri Lanka.
